Nightmares of the past.

Mark was lying in a warm bed, while a sleeping Delfina, as always climbed on top of him again. The woman lay with her head on his chest and snored carelessly, while Mark, again suffering from his frequent insomnia, looked at the ceiling and remembered his life.
A so distant Earth, his looking for a job, a cramped cabin of a spaceship in the far dark and scary infinite space, a little Star.

Two wives, his adopted daughter Star, his Liliana, and his large family of friends - who are always ready to play with you in moments of mood, as well, as give you advice or give you a helping hand in a moment of need...
Mark still looked at the ceiling with unblinking eyes and smiled.

Everything was so unusual, so unreal. Like a dream...
"Exactly, maybe it is a dream?" Mark thought scared.
"Did he just dream all of this, and he's still asleep in his cabin on the Axioma?" Thought the man, but suddenly Emily stirred next to him.

"You're awake?" Emily asked sleepily, touching his cheek with her cold wet nose without opening her eyes.
Mark smiled again - his wife Emily always subconsciously knew when something was wrong with him, or when difficult thoughts were overcoming him.
Emily squeaked softly when Mark pressed her head tighter to his chest, and hugging her shoulders he stroked her head, - after a few seconds smiling happily Emily fell asleep.

"Maybe they are my compensation from the fate for my difficult life?
Or maybe I'm just lucky?
After all, how can you understand fate and your own life path?..." The man thought as he fell asleep.
He almost had some other deep philosophical thoughts, - but the feeling of the weight of his sleeping wives on his chest and the pleasant warmth made him relax, and the man peacefully fell asleep in the arms of both his wives.

(Technical nuance. This is not important to readers - but in my culture, it has some importance for me.
They three sleep in a large family bed, Emily always sleeps turning her back to him on his LEFT side.
Delfina can hug him during her sleep, or even climb on him - but she sleeps from his RIGHT side.)

Please note that my story is in the process of being written, and most of these small fragments that I published are not in chronological order.
(Chronology always was a real pain for me.) So when I finish my plans I will try to put everything in order. If I can...
