Though in the absence of a father, the young boy's education was picked up by Dahao, a long time friend of Vygo's father, Jago.
Here Dahao is teaching young Vygo how to hunt.

A new year, a new post. Though not a new drawing, this one is from early 2022. It's difficult to remember to post things regularly, especially when I'm fully occupied with always creating more. This drawing is the first in a little series of drawing, and I figured posting it would encourage me to continue posting the rest of the sequence.

*o* Dahao is so cool! I'm sure little Vygo thought as much, anyway, when he wasn't focused on the hunt, as he is here. He's displaying a good bit of dedication for a wee lad of his years. :}
Although, maybe he's not as young as I first thought. How old is the boy, here?
ALSO, the tall grass is so well done! And so much! They're sure to be well hidden from their chosen prey. >:}

I love Dahao too, he started as a character that appeared in just a couple of panels in a past comic and then one day I had some ideas for him and turned him into a very beloved character and important part of the twins' story!
It was difficult at first, but he soon got the hang of it! He was always incredibly dedicated to his role as a provider of the family!
