For most of his kin, the very idea of ever leaving the archipelago was but a fleeting though. But for Aldryk, it was all he desired.
He was tired and frustrated of the rules and boundaries set by the Elders, that only seemed to grow in severity for every passing year.
Like chains wrapped around his body, they were to be tightened should he ever step out of line.
But he would suffer it no longer. With no hesitation, he set out during the rising sun, not looking back at the place that had been his home for all those years.
He cared little of where he would end up. The wind and his wings would carry him to whatever place laid before him.
