Base by samalamb-bases. (Thanksgiving morning, Todd had spent the night in Anya's bed. The couple just cuddling sharing the occasional kiss. Looking forward to the day ahead of them, Anya's tummy growling, anticipating whatever delightful dishes she was to have later.)
*Todd* Anya dear, we have to get up.
*Anya lazily replied* Five more minutes?
*Todd* Fine, but remember we have some cooking to do too. We can't just show up empty-pawed.
*the two share a kiss, Todd's hand resting on the side of his girlfriend's cheek*
*Anya* Okay, okay I'm getting up.

*Todd cooked up a hearty egg and bacon breakfast for the pair to share, as Anya got some of the cooking for the day done.
Unsure of what Todd's family might like she prepared a hearty solyanka, beef stroganov, and pelmeni surely meat dishes would go over well.*

*Todd* Wow it smells great in here! *he reached for a little bite* Mind if I have a little sample?
*Anya lightly smacked his hand* I do mind! You can wait.
*Todd* Okay honey. How much longer do you think it might be?
*Anya* The solyanka still has about ten minutes, then we can get ready to go. I hope your family doesn't mind Russian dishes.
*Todd* I'm sure they'll love it, but not as much as I love you.
*Anya blushed, and smiled at her little corgi* I love you too darling!

*After a while the two arrive at Todd's parent's home, Danielle and her boyfriend Tyler had arrived a minute before, followed by Stephanie and her room-mate Esme before they all entered carrying they're respective dishes.*

*Stanley and Cordelia* Glad everyone could make it!
*Cordelia* It's so good to have everyone together. I hope you brought you're appetites we have several turkeys, mounds of stuffing, potato casserole, cranberry sauce, and whatever you all brought with you.
*after a bit of mingling, Stanley said grace over the meal and the clan dug in to dinner*


*after dinner Anya was totally stuffed* Thank you all for having me over, sorry if I made a pig of myself.
*Cordelia spoke up* Nonsense, it does my heart good to see a healthy appetite!
*Stanley* Yeah, were glad you could make it. Are you one of those hibernating bears?
*Anya* Yes sir, but I'm going to try and stay awake for Christmas this year.
*Stanley with a little grin on his face* Sir? You can call me Dad.
*Todd was overjoyed that he actually found a girl his family loves*

*After everyone had time to chat, mingle, and just enjoy each other's company they all headed home sporting full tummies*
