It might look like I've added a new character to my Hero Forge profile, but I haven't actually done so; Licky Nicky is actually Cripto's second alter-ego (after his superhero alter-ego); this idea came from an old story of mine where Cripto was sent to protect a gold shipment from Bendraqi, as he was attempting to steal it. Originally he was disguised as the Righteous Outlaw, but while he succeeded at protecting the gold, Bendraqi unmasked him in the process, and threw him in jail (without the Sheriff knowing about it until too late), where he eventually met the real Righteous Outlaw.

The Outlaw commented that, "With the mask, you look like me; without it, you bear resemblance to a legendary hero of our town," who also went by the nickname "Licky Nicky" because he ate quite a bit of licorice in his day, sometimes during a gunfight!

Cripto subsequently went through the training process and earned his license to handle ammunition. He also learned how to use a lariat and a bullwhip (as well as ride a horse), and so he holds them in his hands in his picture. (He uses two six-shooters, which are in the holsters in this picture.)

Cripto says being a cowboy was a big blessing to him, as it taught him that he didn't need to use his superpowers for absolutely everything. He only uses this alter-ego, however, when the mission requires if (although if he's just visiting a specific area, he'll do a public appearance as Licky Nicky).
