The inspiration was the image of the killer whale from the browser game: Flight Rising. There was a familiar: Spiney Whale.
The work started in 2017. Then it was abandoned and only completed at the end of 2022.
For a long time I could not decide how to finish it. The idea of design was inspired by the passage of the game "Scorn". And since the biomechanics and style of Giger are close to me, the decision to make a killer whale like this was instant.)
And now the technical information.
Materials:
Wire frame, blue glass (from a broken bottle), velvet clay, micro LED garland, acrylic paints, varnish, wooden stand.
Sculpture size:
Height - 18cm
Length - 22.5 cm. (Stand 20cm)
Width on a support - 13,5sm.
