My sona Alfyn is a bakeneko ~ a cat yokai ^w^
and as a bakeneko, he has a fun splattering of supernatural abilities:

- Limited Shapeshifting: He can take the form of a regular cat or the form of a cat-monster, and can disguise himself as human as well. His regular cat form can range in size from that of a common house cat to the size of a jaguar.
- Transposition: Vanishing in a whiff of mist from one location, he can appear in another nearby location shortly after. (This is.. ...not exactly teleporting.. but it's difficult to describe the difference x'D)
- Floating: Alfyn can drift and hover about with ease. Although his floating isn't as swift as conventional flight, it can be sustained indefinitely without focus, allowing him to sleep comfortably mid-air.
- Motes: A ghostly, fire-like mote can often be glimpsed bobbing near the tip of his tail.
- Kittikiryos: Alfyn can manifest large clowders of these spectral helpers. He can grant them varying levels of sentience, and they will loyally serve his whims to the best of their ability.
- Tail: His tail is a bit longer than average and is fully prehensile. While it lacks much actual strength, it has ample finesse.
- Magic: He is capable of magic, although most of his magical prowess is rooted in dark magic such as cursing or bewitching others. His magic is bolstered under moonlight.

While human casters often gesture with their hands, Alfyn makes most of his gestures with his tail tip. Likewise, his magic can often be seen by a glimmer in his eyes, or enacted by kneading his paws on a surface ^w^
