What a beautiful piece! So much wonderful attention to detail. The saliva being thickest, bubbly and stingy more as you get closer to the gullet. Showing the most froth where it would pool under the tongue and entrance to the gullet. Also, at the entrance to the gullet how the saliva is super think and looks like its not just covering the tongue, but fully coating it is a great detail.

The tongue motion and posing is greatly enjoyable! all the folds and creases along it's length while it curves back in on itself. Flexing the primary muscles in the back of the tongue as well of the front is something I don't think I see too often. The tongue tip not being lined up perfectly with the 'center' of the mouth is a very grounding imperfection and makes the scene more believable. You even put reflections of the teeth along the smooth underside of the tongue.

Last bit, I'm not sure I can explain this properly, but even though I am aware this is clearly meant to be a maw focused art work. This really seems like a real yawn and not just showing off the maw. Hell, I've yawned several times just looking closely at the details of your work.
