Honestly this piece and how both characters is depicted, is just making me think of the movie cliché of "Wise old mentor waits patiently as reckless impatient hyperactive student fools around" :'D
Could be that this is Ashura's first time being in this setting, so she's just having lots of fun with it <:
What is this setting you ask ? Uh, great question!
I imagine it's like a magical place that fairies can go to, possibly their native realm maybe, a place for meditation and relaxing, possibly learning ? I also though, imagine it could be dreamscape of sorts, because it has that sorta energy and feel to it, so could be both ? Maybe it's Elvira's native home and Ashura is visiting, there's a lot of possible answers <:
I also like the title the artist has for it, "Fountain of Dreams", also a fitting one.
On that note, this is an absolutely gorgeous piece I got of these two! I love how the lighting is and how the water effects were drawn, it all just looks incredible!

Like I said it could be a little inner world shared by the two, or an entirely different dimension inhabited by fairy dragons like Ash.
That's what I love about realms like this, they could be anything. Heck it could even be a facade for something much more darker in nature.
Tbh when I first saw this, I was instantly reminded of Heavenly Garden, which is a stage from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - basically in the first phase it starts out looking like this, but in the second phase the stage transforms into a dark twisted mirror image of itself.
Sorry for if I ever sucked any positive symbolism from this wonderful piece ^^;
I can't help but love it when stories present something to the protag as something as rainbows, sunshine and all that jazz, only to immediately turn the whole thing on it's head into the exact opposite xD

This is maybe one of the prettiest pieces you have commissioned. And that isnt to take anything from the rest of the art you have, this is just so jaw droppingly beautiful. The color, composition, how your girls are drawn, the way the water and reflections look. It all combines for something truly beautiful and awe inspiring. So much whimsy and magic, I adore it <3
