Beautiful art and animation.
However, one functional error on the subject... mounting and dismounting is almost always performed on the left side of the horse and I am unaware of any societies that perform it on the right side. This could be excused as a fantasy on some other world but IIRC, it is because of a quirk with the horses that it's simply easier to mount from the left side--a weakness in perception or physical limitation that makes the left side the safer one to mount or dismount on.

Haha! Yes, you are right. And I know that detail, but this YCH were made from a rough test task, which already included such a foreshortening.
By the way, I know at least one person (from youtube), who says that in western riding style (referring to the cowboys) you should be able to mount a horse from every side. And that the reings should be eased literally dropped.
But no matter of that, I agree with you, of course the left side mount\dismount is a regular.
