Mike is a nice guy. He's easy-going, quiet and loves to talk to others when he gets the chance, especially when it's about art. Mike is an excellent painter in any kind of paint medium. Mike also doesn't understand why some people are always running in terror from him. He's honestly baffled by it.

For those who don't already know, Mike is an Eastern coral snake. They are fairly poisonous, but apparently there's only ever been two documented fatalities caused by them. He came about because I love the look of coral snakes and I also like the idea of a venomous snake who just doesn't get why he's scary.

While I'm here, anthropomorphic snakes are another strange thing to draw, given that you'd need to add limbs to an animal that does not generally have them. I haven't decided if he wears more than a bandanna on his head yet.
