Saw this sign in a shoe store at Heathrow Airport on a trip to Europe in Sept. 2009. I liked the bear eating the wolf eating the man food chain. Rather vorish.

In reality, it's more like:
1. Fast animal eats slow child, a la http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLFdRXWBIVE
2. Slow child's parents complain to the community, and they form a large search party to find and kill fast animal
3. Fast animal is found and killed by moderately-fast, techological, and moderately clever (even human hicks are still more intelligent than animals, as a general rule) people
4. Animal is skinned, eaten if applicable, and mounted on a wall
Humans are like what happens when you mix bees with terminators. Sure, you can kill one, but then a swarm of super-determined, weak, but technolgical little killers to hunt down and kill whatever ate little Timmy. Er, did any of that make sense?
