I've recently befriended my... *squints* ...second cousin once removed. Ok I don't know if I got that right

Anyway she had a heart attack and stroke and I took pity on her small antisocial dog and took care of him while she was in the hospital for over a month

In my opinion the rest of my non-imediate family isn't as nice to her as they should be so I've been helping her keep her apartment clean and doing her chores

She bought me a nice giant set of prismacolor pencils which is basically the best art supplies money can buy, so now I am obligated to draw lol

This is the first successful drawing in the new sketchbook

Another fun fact, her son is gay, I knew I had to have queer family members. Even if we are distant it's pretty cool. Hope I can meet him some day

....I don't know where I'm going with this drawing, I don't like it, but my new years goal is to finish what I start and stop being such a OCD perfectionist, just finish stuff even if I don't like it. Otherwise I never finish anything
