I have a real soft spot for the traditionally painted backgrounds from classic cartoons and anime and I wanted to try my hand at making one for my most recent animation project that you can find here

I painted this with gouache paint and was inspired by the cold, gray Canadian January we've got at the moment. But instead of getting bummed out by the weather, this was an excuse to try and enjoy the season and draw something fun!
