Nothing much in particular. I always try yo talk to him about his new projects whenever possible.
But to answer your question, what comes to mind in this is Zim doing a series of crazy experiments on say random women, a babysitter someone hired arbitrarily, or Gaz though she probably makes the least sense of being captured!

Normally I would have plenty of comments on that subject, but they would be out of place since you and I don't know word one about each other.
But my gut always tells me that it is best to think twice about these extended projects unless folks have real experience in doing such things. I hear it from people all the time and it always turns out the same. And of coarse all I have of your work to go on is what's here, so I can't rightly say anything one way or another, except that I would like it very much to see more. ^^

I've had enough experience with comics, I even went to school specifically focused on making comics.
Yes I done comics before but only to update and perfect my skill. Nothing official. I school one of my comics urned a place in the school competition.
As for this comic, I have the whole story figured out. Most inspiration came from those French mature sci-fi graphic novels. Yes I have a friend helping me with the story but as for the art it's all me. This is done for fun because it's a fan comic with already existing characters and settings. I just doing this for fun and the entertainment of the fans, and also to show that I'm not a tight ass mister righteous.
I intend to post it her in FA, part by part.
And on a personal note this is my subtle retaliation toward all those people who like (oy) DAZR or any other kind of IZ yaoi.

Ok then, what happened to your spelling all of a sudden? Now I'm going to respond to that list, but remember I'm not picking on you, these points are what you'd get from teachers and industry professionals here. You're probably NOT going to like some of this, but again, I'm not trying to be mean, really.
You can't say you've had enough, just point of fact. You can prove that you have by producing physical evidence of your abilities. Like somebody saying "pictures or it didn't happen". A person's own word or personal evaluation carries no merit. I mean I can say wether you've had enough because I've been trained and qualified to know.
What school? College, a workshop, high school, middle school? Because I came out of college with a degree in art education so I could continue to teach people how to make comics. And that's what I am consistently hired to do. My final project in my advanced college art class was the preliminary work for my second comic book "Extraction" which you can see in my DA account. I even got a grant from the college to show the results at a convention! Say it with me, this stuffy old college actually paid me to go to a comic convention! But we can look at those results and that comic now and they stink. I bit off too much for my abilities at that time. If I went back and redid it all now, it would be much better but still not entirely right for my own expectations.

School competitions are encouraging to students, but they're something else that doesn't actually count for anything/much. I mean I've had my art in public shows since middle school but unless you can put it on your resume, nobody else is going to care.

She was a GOOD writer but she couldn't focus on work when we were together. So for you is this just some school buddy, someone who cares about the project, somebody who is a better writer than you?
You're just doing it for fun. Fantastic! That also 'implies' your own expectations of the end results are not that high. And that's not actually a bad thing. But your also doing it to entertain IZ fans, which means you have a particular group of people in mind.
It's to prove to people (what people) that you're not a tight ass mister righteous? Where is that comment coming from? And what makes you think doing this comic would prove that? That comment implies that you also have a strong negative emotional investment in this for the purpose of countering someone elses comments towards you.
And then you admit that you're doing an incest (because really, genuine question, where was it established that Gaz and Dib were not related?) comic as a counter to some yaoi series/comics that I have never seen myself (Zim on Dib...damn that just does not sound right at all).

Synopsis: Gaz's 18th birthday is coming in a few weeks. She, after ignoring her urges all her life, finaly gives in and makes Dib do the "work" for her because he is "the only one she can slightly tolerate. She hates people.
Zim, who has gown into hidding for 9 years for an some reason, resurfeses. He and the entire Irken race have there eyes set on Gaz for some unknow reason. Tak also reterns, covered in scars and thirsty for vengence onto the human who ruind her plan to destroy Zim.
This is just the basics, for more info just ask, but there will be no spoilers. The story has alot of secrets that will be reviled with it's progression, I don't want to give them away.

As for the concepts you've mentioned, it promises all kinds of things. Personally I'm one for seeing Gaz with demonic piggies and alien creatures/gizmos.

Also I personally do not like "for some reason" explanations, but that's because I obsess over explaining everything. Though that has more to do with me than you, and in this context, it is certainly an appropriate choice.
So far, I'm still looking forward to this project. You might consider making a bit more fan fare of it if you're really set on doing it.

No you didn't say anything about experiments, those guesses are just the things that came to my mind based on your description. I wasn't asking for confirmation or making any suggestions, I was just brain storming out loud that's all. Sticking Tak on a probing table (or something) is just what I would think of doing IF it was me developing this project.
Fan fare: what I mean is, if you're putting this project together and want to post it here on FA, it MIGHT behouve you to do things like posting a journal announcing the project, updating it as the project progresses, and posting more development art like the work you already have up.
Get more attention, more public response, probably more support from the community. Not necessary, might work for you or against you depending on what YOU specifically are looking to accomplish.

Well, we've never done a comic before. My brother was making one with our friend's OC. I guess we were just sloppy because unlike you, we didn't get the whole plot through before we started it. lol So we've been doing the whole project on the fly. My brother does the drawing, I do the editing. I guess it would've helped if we had some experience in making comics. But you went to school for it. So far he made 28 pages. I'd be nice to have some experience, but the most important lesson I learned from this is to make sure the story is solid before you start the project. Hell, we may even get some inspiration from your upcoming comic. We've been fans of yours for like two years. I think your Invader Zim related artwork is legendary!
