Weight: 165 lb (75 kg)

Skills (Force): Force Powers (Dark Side), Light Saber Combat, Foresight, Force Ignite (Specialty).
Background
Born Kristnaya Sunjami on the capital planet of Sith Empire, Agni grew up basking in Imperial propaganda. He joined Imperial army in early youth to protect their home, and had been a soldier for almost a decade before his Force sensitivity blossomed during a suicide mission, made him the lone survivor amongst his crew. By Imperial law, Agni was then transferred to Sith Academy for training, and when he graduated he was handpicked by browsing Sith Lords to become a proper apprentice. Under the tutelage of Darth Voi, Agni rose quickly rose in Sith hierarchy, and eventually named a Darth.
Unlike most Sith who basked in luxury and abuse of power, Agni longed to return to the military, to fight on the frontline and protect his beloved Empire directly, instead he’s stuck with politics and intrigues which serve only to delay progress, rather than expedite it. Agni’s wish was somewhat granted when his master was ousted in a Sith powerplay towards the end of the Republic-Empire Cold War. He was banished to a remote planet at the fringe of Empire to assist a military operation, a punishment he was all too happy to accept.
While this entourage lasted only two years, Agni was able to earn enough merit to continue his military services with Darth Marr as the Galactic War started anew. He will always have to deal with the Dark Council, but at least he can now do his job wearing coat of arms.
Personality
Agni is reserved and thoughtful, perhaps too disciplined a stereotypical Sith. His demeanor is partly a result of decade-long military services, which made him more of a teamplayer than to other Sith Academy graduates. Unfortunately, Agni’s devotion towards the Empire as a whole instead of personal gain also tarnished his connection with Dark Side of the Force. Many would still regard Agni as an “Incomplete Sith” for his lack of raw power.
Spending half of his life in military made Kristnaya a staunch defender of the Empire and its people, and he intends to annihilate any threat any where, at any cost; which includes other Sith. Despite being a Sith himself, Kristnaya has intense hatred towards Sith culture of infighting as well as Dark Council, whom he believed should be the protector of Empire but instead became its self-destruction.
Agni’s open attitude made him popular amongst civilians and Imperial servicemen, at the same time made him an enemy to those who relish Sith supremacy. The Imperials enjoy granting Agni service medals (which makes Agni salutes a non-Force user) as a way to strike back at their Sith rulers, and the higher Sith would send Agni to more and more dangerous missions expecting him to die, only to bring him more medals.
Agni finds using firearms (from blasters to bazookas) relaxing, so he frequents shooting ranges to take time away from all the Sith nonsense.
Agni’s biggest concern, aside from winning the war agains the Republic, is how to comfort his military peers in the presence of a Sith Lord. Primarily, HIM.
Power
Being an Incomplete Sith, Agni compensates with cunning, efficiency, and resourcefulness. Years of military training in also made him more battle-ready and strategically capable, than Sith who put too much trust in the Force instead of firearms and tanks. His rapport with Imperial servicemen also made him safe amongst soldiers; untimely death of arrogant Sith Lords in hands of an insulted grunt is not unheard of.
When dire needs arose where ample Force power is required, Agni holds an emergency technique. By ripping his forehead open, causing excruciating amount of pain, Agni can temporarily commune better with the Dark Side. This technique also grants Agni the ability to use Force Ignite: Burning any person or object he sees, even through a holo communication channel (much like Darth Vader’s Force Choke). The aftermath of this usage exerts him tremendously, but often enough to turn the battle in Empire’s favor.
Agni is not above further self-mutilation if he realized he needs more power. He considers each scar a trophy of proven dedication to the Empire. As result, his body is almost always in agony.
————————
Darth Agni is a Hindu-inspired OC (maybe?) I made for Star Wars: Old Republic. I thought it interesting to have a Sith who has more military backgrounds, more down to earth, instead of being space wizards who shoot lightning and talk edgy.
Agni’s lightsaber was designed after Hindu Vajra, a religious weapon used to banish evil (in this case, conviction that will purge all impurity within Sith Empire). His name was a play on both Hindu’s god of fire as well as the word “agony”, which is a characterization of his self-sacrificing existence.
