The room was dark, and smelled of what Sabine could only picture as used feet wraps mix with burning oil. Most people had left, moving on to other hole in the wall places, this late at night. Though the few that remain watched her with interest, eyeing her ash she walked up to the bar. The bar tender walked over, intreated at seeing a Beniiran this far west.
"I need some information on a friend of mine, maybe you've seen him?" She asked trying to feel him out.
"Listen, this is a bar. Either buy a drink or go." The bartender said, with a tone that made her already dislike him.
"Look all I want is to know if you've seen a person." She said, letting her words hang in the air for a moment. The bartender looked around to see if anyone was eavesdropping on them, before gesturing for her to come closer, as he leaned in. Sabine's ears went up, ready to hear what he had to say, the information that would get her one step closer to finding the See're.
"That will be one Teofet." He whispered as he slid her a drink.
Sabine looked at the filthy cup, filled with what smelled like rancid fermented milk. "What is this?"
"The reason you come to a bar. What else?" He said walking away,
Sabine growled under her breath, and stood up. "Right then."
Since it's the new year, I thought I would upload something from last year. I was working on this one for a while, and kept getting slowed down by life. So it may not be fully finished. Though, as is, Im pretty happy with it, as I enjoy drawing Sabine.
