She was defeated in battle and stripped of all her power and knocked into a mortal form. She used that opportunity to seal her own power away. She's wracked with guilt over what she did while taken by rage and vows to never let her anger rule her again.

She was once a benevolent goddess, before anger ended up causing her to do something she now deeply regrets. The many innocent lives snuffed out by her rage is something that eats away at her mind every day. She is far less dangerous now than she was, and her true nature has come back; a kind, nurturing and benevolent being who wants to help where she can.
