Shiny Dragon - Trade with SephrenDemon
A partial trade with SephrenDemon
They wanted me to draw their character a bit like they would appear in my world (Enterra) so I went for something somewhat insectoid, but more demon/dragon like.
I had a LOT of fun with this, and tried a lot of new things. I really, REALLY like the translucent wing effect, and the horns.
I played with the saturation for the parts further from the viewer to add more depth, lowering the saturation while adding a splash of higher saturation on the areas closer to the vewer.
Probably a good 10 layers of shading and lighting... and I think I broke my art block fully cause this came out without any fuss and I managed it pretty well!
