In the modern world where my Dragon characters live, there are also classic myths and legends about dragons. Some laugh at them, some question them, and some seriously believe in them. Let's ask my dragons what they think of the famous dragon stereotypes
My opal boy Armund and eggs OuO
As the youngest of the dragons, this boy is just trying to humor and distract you from the thought of how a heavy two-meter upright dragon sits on eggs like a chicken. Your brain will just shut down! It's a pity his father Felix didn't appreciate the youthful prank, he knows how mortals love stupid fables. And in our world, creatures are known whose method of reproduction and birth causes consciousness to turn over. Oviparous mammals and viviparous sharks are proof of this. So why do dragons have to be egg-laying?)))

Ehhh... like father like son
I guess Felix also was a giant goofball in his years of youth but as all fathers (and especially the ones that really care) wanna for their sons a better life and them to become a better copy of themselves i guess he doesn't want him to be so silly and kinda windy person
But... seriously how the dragons in your fiction spread? I would bet on classic mammal-like viviparous method judging by the fact how little the amount of kids Felix has and how dragons with a such a level of life are not overpopulated the continent yet heh but again... i can be wrong and Armund doesn't help at answering the question of this mystery as well xD

Armund is the first and only dragon born by natural birth. The elder dragons literally descended from the sky, from outer space, they are demigods. There are big problems with their reproduction in the real world, because it is very difficult to find a strong and long-lived partner in the mortal world. The dragon can tritely kill during intimacy. And they do not want to love each other, because they are like brothers and sisters, born from the same god. But this is not so, but morally they decided so.
