These two beefy magpies are participating in the little-known sport of mas-wrestling. In mas-wrestling, two people sitting face-to-face with each other prop their feet on a wooden board and pull on a stick. They either try to pull the stick away from the other or pull the other over the board.
Although with how friendly these two are, they’d probably treat it less like a strength contest and more like an exercise akin to rowing.
