The Pillars Shall Love and Protect [Mythology Info]
Hee-Ho, howdy everyone. Hope you’ve all been well, and today I got something a bit special for you. I realized when designing the little angry Kobolds I said I would detail out their churches and the main common religion most of the cast follow. Just that the Scalebolds have a much more dominant idea on how they follow it. Some of this will be repeating information from: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/50393685/
, but I will try my best to elaborate more on this fantasy religion. When a church is constructed, the rule for following the pillars that it must not be dedicated to one God. That when the church is created it must detail out the seven proper pillars. The pillar of heroes and order, Thomza the Maskless. The pillar of chaos, Tia the Tiamat and being of infinite heads. Ballos the pillar of indulgence, and the mother of the flesh. Decay, Ballos’ sister and the celebration of passing on. UBiL the destroyer and being of the pure white moon. Then finally Proto and Aellea as the beings of motivation, progress, and science. Proto being the more scientific while Aellea got the nickname of chaos due to her personality.
Some of these beings are not to be individually worshipped and it is considered heresy by the church if you do so. You are never to hold one above the other unless you are to dedicate yourself to a specific branch of the pillars. The only ones who can are dedicated priest or members of “the chosen.” The kobold that is illustrated in this image is actually an "Aquatic Fruit Kobold" as she's one of the priest of the pillars. Now, these branches include:
Followers of the Mute God: Mostly Scalebold dominated, but a very warrior-like religion and culture. That they will build tall, grand, and ensure the faith is secured at all costs. They worship Thomza, Tia, Proto and Aellea. Thomza for his love of others and protective nature, Tia for the blessings of power and idea of change, Proto for his knowledge of the scientific world, and Aellea for her psychotic nature. Most people following this religion will carry around an idol.
This idol will be blessed by Tia and every single one of them will be unique. This allows them to basically climb a tree of skill and receive different blessings and powers based off their devotion. This devotion can be “leveled up” by combat, building structures, and through prayer. It is this way because of the world Thomza and Tia once called home. A remnant of the past and is the only religion that has any game-like mechanics to its worship. Once certain thresholds are met, the idol will transform its holder into different classes of units. Some may look similar to fit their role, but many will have its own unique build and setup.
The highest ranks are the chosen as they act as priests, generals and consorts to the gods and are to be respected as such. This religion is also known as a “heroes and adventurers” religion. It got it’s name because it was founded by scalebolds after Thomza, who was mute at the time struck down the previous gods they were all worshipping. (The Stars)
Ballos Culture: To worship Ballos is to also worship her sister Decay. To be part of her system you are to dance, party, and enjoy life at every single second. That we may have our times of being down, but you are to smile as things will not be this bad for long. A celebration of life and who you are and who you want to be. To be blessed and to worship the flesh you were given instead of hating it. That you will smile, dance, and party until the end. That your entire life is a party that will eventually end.
That you will remember and cherish the fallen, that you will be one with the culture, and that you will see everyone as equal to you. Where violence is usually thrown out the window, and where you can live out your life wonderful and free...
Ballos is the absolute celebration of life and living that life you were given to it’s fullest. It is the oldest and most well-known religion of the universe as worshippers can be found almost in every corner of the galaxy. Where they will also worship the other gods of the pillars as her partners. To worship Ballos is to also worship yourself, as your body is that divine and holy temple that must be taken care of. To disrespect yourself is to disrespect Ballos herself.
The Melting Flower: The melting flower is an incredibly unique religion founded almost purely by the Mimins. After the downfall of the armada by Captain PiK they looked towards the gods to help them. The ones left over from the war found ancient texts detailing information about the 9th cycle and who they once were before they became space pirates.
The melting flower believes in the absolute love of nature and the plants that surround it. Since Tia, Proto and Aellea are all classified as plants they see Thomza as the one who tends to them. Creating a culture based off of agriculture and mystical nature of spiritualism.
Followers of the Unknown: A religion that is based loosely off of UBiL and you are here for his own amusement. For he does not care to be worshipped and is merely the god of destruction. To follow in his footsteps is to bring a life of chaos to a boring life.
Good and bad things will happen to you, but it will all be purely random. You will be given a set of cards that will be bound to your soul to determine your occasional fate. Although those who worship him will always most likely meet a very grizzly end. To worship him is to throw your life away and bring pure destruction around you. It is highly ill advised and it is not officially supported as the god made it as a joke. It is not considered heresy or blasphemous, but most people will stay away from you.
Love-Bot: A celebration of every single pillar all in one. That they are the proper gods of this universe, and we are to aspire to them in every single which way. To walk among the gods and to be just like them. That they are inevitably people just like ourselves. That they are to expect nothing from them, but to worship them and be just like them.
(Their religion is highly unstable, but most will fall under the followers of the mute god overtime or Ballos culture.)

I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system. There are also many satirical tones as well...
