Just a reminder of traffic in rome - traffic lights do not exist at every junction, and vehicles do NOT stop like some do at zebra crossings. Rather, one must be really assertive, and step out into the flow of traffic at the correct moment.

It's times like these that make me wonder if that's why my Italian colleagues have such a drive for life, to take the bull by the horns and make things happen. Something to live up to.
