It's been a while since I made an art of something other than horses so I kinda forgot how to do this lmao I gave this to my friend on New Year's Day to cheer him up a little and it worked, I hope?..
I think I love drawing hoomanoids from now on even tho it's the craziest stuff to draw lol You can't just throw them into a classic grass-and-sky-bg, it's always about details that add to the mood and you can't really skip them if you want to tell the story behind the pic
Anyway, the hardest part: perspective and lightning (again), the sofa and the walls; the easiest: the idea and the athmosphere (surprisingly) as well as golden parts and red skin (took some time to figure out tho)
I really am afraid this pic is the top of my skill and my drawing career lmao It took me two weeks of intense work in a flow, or ~90 h (i NEVER work at this pace), so I didn't really have time to fix all the imperfections and to add more details (finished straight on the 31st). I still wanna believe it's good~
