This is another pic I’ve been wanting to do for ages. I’ve never played a WarioWare game (I’ve played Game & Wario, but that’s hardly a standard one), but after seeing Gold’s cutscenes, I very much want to! They’ve got so many lovable characters; Ashley’s the obvious one, but 5-Volt, Lulu and Fronk are great too. And of course, Dribble and Spitz are favorites of mine. There’s just something so likeable and surprisingly awesome about a pair of heavily armed cabbies (seriously, they’ve had at least two different bazookas at this point) traveling through space to do their jobs. I always thought Spitz was adorable, and that it was cool that he was the gunner in their Game & Wario levels, but after seeing him in Gold?
That has to be the most epic road rage I’ve ever seen. Seriously, how many people get ticked off by traffic to the point they end an alien gang war by shooting down most of the UFOs in it?! Combine that with being really nice and a cute cat, and he’s easily one of, if not my favorite character.
I think this is the first picture of him entranced, and I don’t get how. WarioWare’s been around since the GBA, and Dribble and Spitz have been around since the first game; combine that with Spitz being a small, adorable cat, and I really don’t understand. Here’s hoping it’s not the last of him hypnotized!
It had been about a month since the WarioWare staff had gotten trapped in a video game, and then made their escape, and for Spitz, life had pretty much gone back to normal. Making microgames, chasing down Wario for a paycheck, getting to meet everyone from fellow Earthlings to aliens en route to their destinations – life was grand. And now, he and the Potluck Gang were meeting up in the Peridot Campgrounds for the first time since that tournament.
All he needed to do was find it.
“Oy, these woods are a maze…” Spitz commented as he pushed through the trees. The cat pulled out his phone, glancing down at it as he pulled up a map. “I thought for sure the trail was right past the sasquatch family.”
“Are you lossst, little kitty?”
The cat jumped, spinning around to find himself facing a giant snake.
“Yeah, I guess I’m not used to forests,” Spitz said sheepishly. “Any clue where the trail is?”
The snake held out his tail. “I’ll be happy to lead the way, Missster…?”
“Just Spitz is fine,” the cat replied, taking and shaking the snake’s tail. “Never really cared about formalities!”
“Nissssce to meet you. I’m Kaa,” the snake said with a smile. “Thissss way, Ssssspitz.”
“Thanks,” Spitz sighed as he followed Kaa. “Heh, it’s kinda embarrassing. Me and my partner Dribble can navigate a cab through space, but I can’t navigate through a forest here on Earth.”
“…What?” Kaa asked, staring at him in confusion.
“Eh, we know this kooky scientist,” Spitz shrugged. “He fixed up our ride, and now we can take intergalactic fares! Those are the REAL moneymakers.”
Kaa blinked, baffled. “Good to know if I ever find mysssself driving a cab. …Or driving at all; it’ssss a bit difficult without limbs.”
“Hey, no problem! The doc can probably work something out,” Spitz grinned. “If not, me and Dribble can give ya a ride if there’s anywhere ya want to go.”
“I’ll definitely have to take you up on that ssssometime,” Kaa smiled. “If your partner’sssss anything like you, he’d definitely be interessssting company.”
“Aw, thanks! You’re neat too!” Spitz chuckled. “Might have to wait on meeting Dribble, though. Poor guy’s out with a cold. He’s trying not to spread it, so he’s missing out on meeting up with some friends of ours. Hope the chicken noodle soup I made him helps.”
“If nothing elsssse, he’sssss getting a good meal,” Kaa raised a coil in the snake equivalent of a shrug. “And he’ssss got a very good friend.”
“What can I say? He’s been my best pal for ages, and he’d do the same for me!” Spitz replied cheerfully. ”Besides, ya gotta treat your friends right, or you’re gonna lose them! Or in our boss’s case, end up chased around his office by angry employees who want to be paid.”
Kaa decided to ignore that last part.
“How sssssweet,” he said. “And it sssseemssss we’ve reached the trail.”
Together, snake and cat left the forest, and stepped out into the light.
“Finally!” Spitz cheered. “Thanks, Kaa! I should be able to find my way from here. It’s been good talking to ya!”
“Likewissssse,” Kaa smiled. “Sssay, before you go, how about I ssssshow you thissss party trick I know? It’sssss been a hit with everyone who’ssss sssseen it sssso far…”
“Sure thing!” Spitz cheerfully agreed. “I’m going to be late anyways, so might as well learn a trick for later.”
“Wonderful!” Kaa smirked. “Now, the firssssst ssstep issss eye contact….”
Spitz’s eyes shot wide open as Kaa’s eyes filled with spirals. The cat oohed at the sight; the snake had one heck of a lightshow! Blue, yellow, green, blue, yellow, green – every one of those rings had him tingling! It felt nice to look at, too, kinda like a fish tank without the thoughts of eating the fish… heh, it was kinda hard to think… at all, really, all those colors kept… kept pushing his thoughts out of sight… But that was all right… they felt all… all warm and fuzzy…
Kaa bobbed his head, and pupils pinpricks, mouth hanging open, Spitz bobbed his; the snake swayed to and fro, and the kitty swayed with him. A motion, a gentle nudge from a scaly tail, and Spitz was swinging his hips with a smile. The tail stroked his cheek, and Spitz leaned into the touch with a purr; the scales were as soft as his fur! The snake pulled back, beckoning him closer, and Spitz staggered over. He was barely aware of the staircase of coils he climbed; all there was, all that mattered, was Kaa and his colors.
Spitz mindlessly marched through loop after loop of the snake’s body, eyes locked on Kaa’s. The snake went low, and Spitz dropped to all fours, tail swishing above him. A boop to the nose stopped the cat in his tracks, Spitz’s eyes crossing to look at it. Kaa’s tail slipped down the front of his clothes and traced its way up the cat’s chest. Spitz rose to his feet, shivering in delight from the scales brushing through his fur. A coil wrapped his wrists, and with that, their dance began. Spitz swayed as he stepped across the snake’s body, swaying and spinning alongside him. Kaa took the cat into a dip, coils supporting his head as he gave the kitty a kiss, earning something between a meow and a moan in response.
Kaa took Spitz into a long spin, eyes never leaving the other’s as the snake wrapped around the kitty and lowered him to the ground. Soon enough, Spitz was up to his neck in coils, and then his pleasure really began. The snake squeezed and stroked with his coils in a massage that had the cat moaning in delight, tongue drooping out as he panted with pleasure. Eyes swirling with color, tail flailing behind him, purring up a storm, not a thought in his head but of the snake, his colors, and how good this all felt – Spitz was in heaven, and he never wanted it to end.
“That’sssss a good kitty,” Kaa smiled, his every word echoing in the cat’s empty head. “Ssssoft, sssssnuggly, and ssssso very relaxssssed – and why wouldn’t you be? You know you can count on me to take care of you… you know you can trusssst in me. I’d never sssteer you wrong…. sssso you’re happy to let me guide you, and handle your every thought and choissssce. There’ssss no need for free will, when obediencssse bringssss sssso much pleasssure. Food, play, protection, converssssation… you’ll provide it all and more for your beloved master. You’ll be my pressssciousss pet, cherisssshed in coilssss, colorssss, and all the praisssse and petting you could ever want… and you wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Spitz was practically drooling as he nodded at warp speed. “Heck yeah! I love ya, trust ya, and obey ya! Why wouldn’t I be a good pet kitty for Master? I’m all yours!”
Kaa smirked, leaned in, and gave Spitz a deep kiss, the cat’s tongue practically swallowed by the snake. Spitz’s eyes bugged out, blushing bright red as he returned the kiss, a PING! going off in his head. The cat purred into his master’s mouth, the snake leaning him backwards, slipping a tail under his goggles to scratch between his ears as they continued the kiss. Finally, the two broke away for breath, Spitz slumping back against the snake’s coils as they both panted.
“That… that was amazing, Master,” Spitz managed to get out as he tried to catch his breath.
“You’re quite the kisssssser yoursssself, my kitty,” Kaa chuckled. “Done thisss before?”
“Eh, a few times,” Spitz giggled, a goofy grin spreading across his face. “Not with a snake before, though; that’s a first!”
“And it’ssss going to be far from the lassssst,” Kaa smiled, giving his kitty an affectionate squeeze, and earning a yowl of delight in response.
Kaa couldn’t believe how lucky he’d gotten. Spitz was cute, funny, and such a sweetheart; definitely one of the better conversationalists he’d seen in a while. Besides that, he came with transportation, cooking skills, and presumably a home somewhere. The cat would be getting a new, scaly roommate with soft coils, a soothing voice, and spectacular spirals he just couldn’t say no to. Spitz would serve with a smile, spiral-eyed and snuggly (he was so fluffy!); a pet to be proud of…
And who’d bring him so many more.
“Care to continue thisss in the cab?” the snake smirked, loosening his coils. “And later, take your masssster home?”
Spitz took a moment to process this.
“Oh, heck yeah!” Spitz cheered, jumping out of the coils. “You’re going to love our place, Master. I’m gonna make it perfect for ya!”
“Then lead the way, my fluffy feline,” Kaa smirked. “And while we’re headed there, you can tell me all about that partner of yours…”
