The contrast between the goofy dogs and the knowing, irritated cat in this strip is really true to life. Trudy and Quinn are both really light-hearted fun-loving creatures. All the cats in the house... well... they're cats. And, even if they do like a little fun in moderation now and then, it's generally not the sort of high-spirited, raucous good times that Trudy and Quinn prefer.
