Erakir and I got together!
What had started out as a simple rivalry about who could curse the other into a transformation the most had gone horribly wrong. Erakir was incorrigible for causing transformations; if you knew Erakir it was a certainty you’d end up transforming.
Erin loved his company and the changes were usually great fun! Ever since the yellow desert kobold had opened the Gallery of Diversion the yellow chocobo Erakir had been a member; though he usually visited the gallery for game time in his blue kobold or moogle forms. Unless of course he was spending a few days as a member of team yellow! In which case his native, natural yellow feathered chocobo shape was the best. In his yellow and white scarf it was easy to identify the chocobo regardless of what shape he was in and when his form allowed clothes he would often be seen wearing a purple over-shirt with the sleeves folded up to the elbows.
Since the whole purpose of the Gallery was to be a safe environment for people to get transformed in, Ery approved. He’d been a big supporter from the beginning and champion a few times. But outside of the games Erin and Erakir had started to trick and trap each other with cursed objects for fun and mischief! Often using whatever shape or form they’d trick the other into assuming as a game piece in the next gallery game before letting them go.
This time however disaster… Erin had purchased a cursed bridle with the intention of trapping Erakir as a riding wyvern. The yellow kobold had snuck up behind the blue kobold and pulled it over his head trapping his muzzle in the enchanted leather. Then sweet victory had turned into trouble when without warning the crystal in the bridle had flared and a duplicate had leapt at Erin, wrapping about his muzzle, trapping them both.
Now Erin was most of the way through a transformation into a giant, living rubber Mizutsune! The big draconic creature had huge thumpy paws for running or attacking. No matter how hard he tried, Erin could not get his claws under the bridle to set himself free! Erakir was being cursed with big red wingy-hands, the huge membranous wings now spreading down his arms rendered it impossible for him to cast a counterspell or reach his own bridle and pull it off. So all they could do was complain at one another as they continued to transform. Already their voices had been rendered beastial, the fact they could still understand each other was a sure sign someone else from the Gallery had tricked them both. Well ok Erakir might say this was all Erin’s fault but the kobold turned mizutsune was claiming this as both their faults, after all Ery started this nonsense with the cursed objects!
As the pair of them continued to transform and started shrinking Erin’s suspicions that they had been tricked by another member of the club were proven true. It wasn’t really Ruba’s style or Flinty but it could certainly be something Blue would pull off, the otter had become a savant at springing surprising transformations on members to fill up his team! As their transformations continued, their new living rubber bodies moved against their will to stand on a pair of hexagonal playing piece bases. It was pretty obvious they had fallen for a sneaky trap and would soon be playing out several rounds in the Gallery of Diversion as members of the same team!
