If there is one thing the Great Houses of Morrowind are good at is pissing each other off. Like any wealthy nobles, there are petty squabbles to settled, but no one is quite willing to commit the full resources of their own holdings in a House war nor can they rely on their fellow Councillors, especially if the disagreement in question is strictly between two individuals of rival Houses.

In comes the Morag Tong, a faction of Mephala, The Daedric Prince of Plots and Schemes, worshipping assassins, legalized to operate within Morrowind to settle these disputes between the various Houses. In the honor of Mephala and gold exchanges, they will carry out honorable writs of execution on behalf of their client which satisfies whatever slight the victim might've inflicted on the contractor and prevents two Houses from engaging in open war because of the squabble of two individuals.

As it happens, while Onyx was getting ready for sleep for the night, he could hear the quieted steps of boots on the rough floor of the Telvanni abode. In addition, there was a strong smell of ash that was permeating the air and decided to investigate. It wasn't long before he spotted an individual, clad in odd chitinous armor he had never seen before brandishing a dagger, brandishing a steel dagger in their right hand. Knowing it was an assassin and brandishing a Daedric Tanto of his own, he follows the individual right until he reaches the quarters of his Telvannni host.
