That last picture of Toro throwing a bus raised a few questions from you guys, one of which was, "Who are this guy's parents, to have a son who throws busses at nuns and old ladies??" Well, here's your answer, in the form of the Bravado family portrait.
That's Jose in his Sunday finest in the near-middle there, with his loving and robust Mama on the right. She's a sweet woman with a heart of gold and a gift for cooking. A really big gift. Just ask anyone who's ever visitied and stayed for dinner, only to nearly drown in extra helpings! But now you know where he gets that winning smile from, eh?
There in the lower-left is the other half of Toro's life, his dear Papa. Now, don't let his size or quiet demeanor fool you. Papa's a real fireplug, and was even the infamous luchador El Toro, before his son took up the title! Jose has yet to beat him in an arm wrestling match, though (and usually getting thrown down the street for his troubles), so it's best to not let your guard down. Fortunately, Papa's content to keep to his favorite armchair with the paper and a good pipe. And yes, he -is- smiling.
