An absolutely amazing and beautifully done art piece done in a more traditional kind of pen-and-pencil sort of style, featuring my half demon lynx lady Kira sporting some lovely new garb fit for a demon hunter and looking like she's about ready to jump into the heat (hehe~) of an intense battle! Been a while since I've gotten some artworks to really show more of her in action like this, and I hope to be able to explore more of this kind of aspect of Kira's character in general as a demon hunter and a sort of guardian and protector type of heroic figure. And of course getting more glimpses of the sorts of powers she's capable of wielding and how she uses them in battle! While she definitely errs more on the side of using primarily magic, her physical combat prowess is certainly nothing to sneeze at either. Those sharp fangs and claws aren't just for show, after all, hehe~ I'd also like to give special thanks to the especially awesome, super talented, and uber sweet  Stranshiba for designing this gorgeous and wonderful new fantasy-inspired outfit for Kira, this will definitely be how she'll be dressed up from here on out while she's out and about hunting down monsters and demons! That being said, I'm just so happy beyond words with how amazing this piece really came out! I really love how cool and confident Kira looks here with that boldly grinning expression, the strong and slightly sassy-looking pose, the way those feathery wings are flared out... It's like you can really feel the power radiating off of her as she's preparing to engage her opponent, and it feels very much like a dynamic full-page action shot taken right out of a comic book with that nice-looking bottom-up angle and perspective! The stylish look of all the fur, the feathers of her wings, her horns, and all the creases and folds in her clothes is just so damn beautiful, and the added details of the motes of fire floating around her is such a neat little touch! The use of the tonal values and contrasts for highlighting and shadows combined with the areas of the more solid black cel-type shading is simply incredible and so pleasing to look at... While I'm sure this would look absolutely amazing if it was fully colored and rendered, I definitely feel that the black-and-white suits it quite perfectly as well! The artist really did an excellent and super awesome job with really nailing the vibe and execution of this piece, there's certainly no doubt about that~ <33
