She is called the "Mistress of Mixtures", "The Cascade Witch", "The Potion Priestess", but before all of that, Venus T. Cascade had no name to speak of. She was hatched at an orphanage, seemingly abandoned by her parents due to her form. But over time, it was learned that she was a result of a one-night stand. Learning of this, she decided to be a drifter, never wanting to settle down with anyone that finds her presence an abomination. That is, until one day she came across a pub by the name of "Ruined Rose". She spent her days there working as a laborer and waitress, making a profit on top of finally having a "family" to call her own.

One day, she felt a strange presence that lead her to the mysterious Island of Isolation. There she learned that she was but one incarnation of herself, as there are thousands of others, ready to take up the offer of the Violet Rose. It promised power unimaginable, and a method to travel to new worlds in search for the perfect home. However, Venus was no fool. Her life wasn't perfect, but she didn't see the offer as being worth all the trouble. She rejected the Rose and left it alone.

The next day, she found her co-workers and boss dead along the floor. The boss had a note in his fist, showing a piece of paper with a black spot. The murderers returned to find Venus grieving over the loss of a family she finally came to care and love for. She retaliated against them, only to wind up captured and brought into what looked to be the galleon of a pirate ship, and placed in the brig.

Within her prison, all she had was drinking water and what seemed to be a sandwich with mostly lettuce. She was done, wanting to end herself completely, but she could not. A literal force in her arm was preventing her, as if her body was being controlled on its own. She saw no one around and didn't sense anyone else controlling her. This had her test something, she poured her water out, only to have it float in mid air. She then picked up a bit of lettuce and had it start growing. With this newfound power and knowledge in hand, she managed to devise a plan to escape.

She hid at the Ruined Rose, but was trapped in the pub and surrounded from the outside. She noticed the counter had small gems on it with a mysterious glow. As she touched them, she felt as if she saw many universes, many of them different from the other. She seemingly let go of the gems, only to see they had been imbued into her tusk. Through concentration, she had the Ruined Rose itself warp out of her current dimension. She then got to work, repurposing the pub to the "Rose Shrine" a place for anyone to relax and have a drink.

While she is the only worker there, she was more than capable of running the shop on her own. Especially with her unique abilities. Though there may be much more to the Rose Shrine than initially thought. But that would be for another time...

....Well, happy new year? ^^; okay yeah, I really don't have a consistent schedule for any of these, especially with the job I have, but that's a story for another time. But yeah, ever since I had Venus as just a female version of Ventus, I kind of had the thought of just having her as her own character. I want to thank  Dritazura for creating her, without her input, Venus would never have been realized. But believe me, I am more than happy with how she turned out and I hope everyone else is happy with the result as well.
