An Epic Clash Part 1 (by ERA-7)
Commissioned from the talented
era-7!
The ritual is nearly complete. The price is paid. And soon, the power will be mine! The arcane emblem before me glows and burns, releasing my magic into the air. It spirals throughout the ether, seeking out the greatest power of all - dragon magic. It will spread throughout the land, drawing the power from all other dragons it finds, and bring it to its true master - me. I will drink deep of it, it will flood me, and when all dragonkind is forced to kneel before me, I shall be nothing short of a god! Nay, the god of gods! The Divine Beasts themselves shall bow to my whim!
But what is this, now? Piercing through the crackle of raw power is a defiant roar. There is another dragon here. Red-scaled and clad in steel. Odd. With the ritual in progress, he should be with the rest of dragonkind - writhing in agony as his power is drawn from him. Curious indeed.
He opens his wings and soars to me. Is this real? Does he believe he can interfere with my ritual - stop me? The simple-minded, weak-hearted hatchling. Though it is impressive, that he found a way to resist my ritual. As the cries of dragons in anguish rise through the air around me, he is somehow able to fight through the immense, burning agony that must be coursing through his body. In a way, it is...awe-inspiring. Perhaps there is something I can learn from him.
Oh, but I will destroy him, of course. Misguided, arrogant, and ultimately futile as his resistance may be, any dragon who can resist my ritual has too much potential to be allowed to live, once my immortal reign is secured. But I must know his secret before destroying him. It will not be hard to learn. Once he has tasted a fraction of my power, he will tell me anything I wish to hear - only then will I grant him the peace of oblivion.

Era is a master of EPIC stuff without doubt
Sometimes arrogance of those who seek power becomes even shorter road to downfall than boldness and blind bravery
Dark powers cannot grant freedom or ultimate power but only slavery to the darkness and suffering
May your claws and teeth release this misguided soul from his own wretched existence
