I'm sure some folks have done this and it might even have turned out well but no one wants their grill smelling like rancid watermelon juice the next day. People who care about grilling generally don't want something like that near their grill. Many folks won't do fish or shrimp on their primary grill, they often use a cheap Walmart type grill for that.
It brings out unique flavors. Watermelon is mostly flavorful fruit sugar water, so grilling it briefly can give it caramelization on the outside, remove some water, and enhances flavor. I did it over a campfire once as a joke, and it was rather neat. Nothing earth-shattering, but a fun little adventure.
Thanks. I had to look Rika up and she is a bit different anatomically than I thought.
What has me confused is the little bit of blue water in the two small spaces between them. Iskra has usually been so good with drawing anatomically correct perspective that it feels like she has an accurate 3D model in her head and can pick an any projection and draw it. If that what she does, it is an amazing gift.

This is actually wrong, they should be the same placement as Erica. However I understand the confusion. Usually depends on how the artist decides to draw it. I will admit in this picture the wings are a bit to.. small. But they both have it around the upper back area like an extra set of arms. Which in reality would be an extra set of arms since bat wings are literally long arms with leathery skin.
