the way it was in the story, there was a cibin on a isle i the 70's, but it sunk when the volcano lake blew. A writer got keys to the cabin whent there (present day) and the next morning is the next week and the cabin, isle, and his wife are missing. But he apparently wrote a book that describes everything that happens to him and everyone in the town in the period of the next week in his book he never wrote.
