This was actually my annual Christmas piece for my mom. She asked for flowers and bird bath and such :| Not my usual cup of tea but it was pretty fun experimenting with the colors and such. Prismacolor pencils and turpenoid on Bristol.
The statue is heavily based off the Burnett Fountain in Central Park.

The sun hits everything, although if you ever want to capture real color on a page, try drawing the same subject on a cloudy overcast day where practically everything is visible in all colors that are not sun-baked.
