An unexpected injury forces a human to stay with a wild Decidueye until he gets better. Her cold demeanor makes it hard to tell what she is thinking, but her voluptuous body drives him crazy. What can happen in a few nights alone with a stranger?

“Are you sure about this? I really don’t mind if you stay,” asked Dee.
“I’m sure. It’ll only make saying good-bye harder if I stay any longer than I need to,” Anon replied as he looked out at the dirt road in front of him. It would take about half a day, but as long as he stayed on the trail, it would take him straight back to his hometown. He had planned to leave earlier in the morning, but it took quite a bit of time to convince Dee that he should leave.
“I really wouldn’t mind taking care of you. I mean, I was fine these past few days. I’m sure we could figure something out,” Dee insisted. Even after the long discussion they had once they woke up, she still seemed determined to convince the human to stay.
“There’s just no way around it, Dee. I’m a human. I’m used to living in the city, and you live in a forest filled with Ursaring and a litany of other dangerous Pokemon. Even if you’re fine with it now, there will come a day when you get tired of having to provide for me,” Anon stated in a matter-of-fact tone. Of course, his heart was pleading with him to stay. He loved the idea of spending endless days and nights with Dee. But, by nature, he was a logical man, and his logic foretold that the inevitable ending wouldn’t be as happy as the night he just spent with the owl Pokemon. As much as it pained him, he needed to go back home. Just as the place he belonged was in the comforts of modern society, Dee’s place was in the wild where she could freely roam the skies. The two just didn’t mix.
“I wouldn’t get tired,” Dee muttered to herself with a pout, crossing her arms indignantly. Anon couldn’t help but chuckle. He never would have thought that the cold, distant owl that saved him would have such a cute side to her. The first few days were such a struggle trying to get even a little bit closer to Dee that the owl in front of him now seemed like a completely different Pokemon. Yet, there was no doubt that he preferred this version of her.
“I… I’ll never forget you,” Anon stuttered. It felt like the only thing he could say. There were a million other things he wanted to say, but none of the words felt quite right. He could have told Dee how thankful he was that she saved him and took care of him or how wonderful of a Pokemon she is. He could have told her that if she felt this happy with a human like him, just imagine how happy she would be once she found a Decidueye or any other Pokemon that she really loved. Yet, as he looked into Dee’s eyes welling with tears, he couldn’t bring himself to say any more.
Meanwhile, Dee was trying her best not to cry. How could she in front of a worthless human? An ungrateful, idiotic human that had absolutely no care at all about how she felt? She should be happy that he was finally out of her feathers, so she could return to her normal life. At least, that was what she tried thinking to herself. If she kept to those thoughts, she would have just enough willpower not to get down on her knees and beg for him to stay.
Anon is probably right, she thought to herself. Humans just don’t have the ability to protect themselves against strong Pokemon. Keeping him in the forest would be both a danger to Anon and herself. Unfortunately, despite her own wishes, she would have to let him return home.
“Take care of yourself,” Dee finally managed to get out after coming to terms with his departure. Unsure of the correct way to say goodbye in this kind of situation, she opened her arms out for a hug.
“You too,” Anon replied as he accepted Dee’s embrace. The pair held each other for quite some time, trying to savor just a few more seconds of each other’s warmth before they would inevitably have to part ways. Finally, they let go of each other and, with a final wave goodbye, Anon was on his way home.
Despondently, Dee watched the human slowly fade into the distance. She wished she never bothered to save him that day. She wished that she never allowed him to get close to her. The Pokemon would have been perfectly content not knowing what true happiness felt like. And she only got a small taste for one day. If she had only realized her feelings sooner or acted on them more quickly, she could have experienced that happiness for just another day. Instead, she chose to wait on Anon. The whole time they were together she waited for what he would do. It wasn’t until she took matters into her own hands that things finally moved the way she wanted.
Dee’s eyes widened. She could still just barely see the top of Anon’s backpack over the horizon. Was this really a life she wanted to return to? A life where she was just idly letting the days pass by, waiting for nature to throw whatever it wanted at her? Or was there another way to live that was on the brink of escaping her grasp? She was content with her life, but she wasn’t necessarily happy. If she wanted to grab hold of that happiness, she would have to act on her own, not wait for someone else. In a flash, Dee spread her wings and took off towards Anon.
Anon was still hesitant on his decision. Even as he grew further and further away from Dee with each step, he couldn’t help but feel like he was wrong. Maybe things would have worked out. Perhaps the sacrifices that Dee would have had to make for their relationship wouldn’t have been too burdensome. His brain was telling him he made the right move, but his heart said otherwise. Still, Anon pressed onward. Besides, even if he were to turn back, Dee probably wouldn’t be there anymore. He had made his decision, and it was too late to change it.
Suddenly, Anon felt something approaching him from behind and fast. Is it another Ursaring? he thought. No, the ground would be shaking from the Pokemon’s stomps. The human turned around to see what it was flying towards him only to be flung to the ground as the object collided with him. Fortunately, nothing seemed to break from the hit as he tumbled over the forest floor. He sat up, still dazed from the impact. Once he regained focus, he found Dee right in front of him, holding onto his shoulders with a determined look in her eyes.
“I’m coming with you,” said the owl.
“What?”
“I said I’m coming with you,” repeated Dee. Anon opened his mouth to interject, but the Pokemon still had more to say. “I thought I preferred being alone, but I was wrong. The life that I lived before, where I was just letting the days pass by, that’s not what I want. I don’t want to keep on just surviving. I don’t want each day to be a struggle. And more importantly, I don’t want to be alone anymore. I want to be with you. I understand that you can’t stay in the cave with me, but that doesn’t mean I can’t come and live with you.”
“But you’ve been here for so long. The cave is your home. Do you really just want to throw it away for me? I mean, there’s so much that…”
Dee grabbed onto Anon’s cheeks before pulling him into a passionate kiss. Even with all of the lovemaking the previous day, this was still the first time they locked lips. Somehow, they had convinced themselves that kissing would be a bit too intimate compared to the debauchery of sex. Anon’s eyes widened as his soft lips met Dee’s hard beak. However, he didn’t even get a chance to enjoy it before Dee pulled her head away. Her cheeks were burning red, but it didn’t seem like she regretted her action at all.
“Does that answer whatever questions you have?” she asked with a smug.
Anon thought for a moment. He didn’t even consider the possibility that Dee would want to leave and join him in his hometown. That brought its own complications, but with the way that Dee looked at that moment, it would have been hard for him to convince both her and himself that they wouldn’t be able to overcome anything that came their way.
“Are you absolutely sure about this?” he asked as he stood up and brushed the dirt off of his clothes.
“Absolutely,” Dee answered confidently as she stood up as well. “You couldn’t stop me from coming anyway. I would force my way there if I had to.”
“I guess I couldn’t,” Anon said with a chuckle, acknowledging how easy it would have been for her to overpower him. A bright smile was on his face now as he felt all of his worries start to slip away. Dee returned his happy expression with one of her own, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
“Well then, shall we get going?” Anon asked, sticking out his hand. Dee nodded her head, taking the human’s hand in hers. Whatever obstacles laid ahead for the two seemed insignificant as they walked hand-in-hand next to each other. What kind of future was in store for them, neither knew. But, what they did know was that it felt right and that as long as they were together, they would always be happy.
