What makes you think that Kerina gave him her soul?

Well, looking at Asriel, she doesn't mind the community's decision. <3

Or rather, Asriel took her soul.
It's normal than an artist will left their own style when trying to draw a character, just than
Asriel look a lot like Kerina in this art in my eyes.
- He has a fluffy fur while here it look more like a very smooth and shiny skin.
- Her eyes look quite far from her muzzle and close to the horns
- same body shape
- other smalls details

Almost look like a bit likr an asriel version of Kerina to me.
Hence why I joked thinking about asriel having her soul



Oh yes, just while seeing a r63 of a character is not something rare, asriel is a character who surely get r63'ed left and right non-stop. :)
Wouldn't be surprised if some got so used they forgot asriel is not a girl.

Well, anyway, it's an unusual idea.
Although we can assume that Asriel's soul has taken over Kerina and reshaped her body to suit his preferences.

I wouldn't say i see r63 Asriel often. But she looks good like that.
Maybe people who haven't played Undertale might think that Asriel has always been a girl.

A more straightforward choice I see, a good Ol' possession TF.

Most likely, Asriel simply transformed himself with his magical abilities. :3
