Ancient One: The Red Serpent
Lore
In ancient text from civilizations past depicts an eldritch creature 'The Red Serpent'. The description of the serpent was detailed to be a horned serpent skulled creature with a symbol engraved into the skull, pulsating powerful magic, the body a endless length of thick crimson liquid ever shifting and never calm. Along with various different bones protruding beyond the liquid surface and an amalgamation beneath, many of the bones beneath allowed the formation of skeletal limbs and claws alike. Another recording of text by those who had served the serpent, formed a communion 'becoming one with the serpent', were given the blessing of its blood, a form of gifted power. It is said the domain the serpent holds dominion over is referred to as 'The Red Garden' from the text of the serpent's past acolytes. It is described to have an expanse of red flora as far as the eye can see, with an enormous vibrant crimson lake. Flowing red rivers in the distance and bones of large creatures scattered throughout the land. The ambience is described as never feeling alone, this feeling is intensified when near the lake and rivers where some have even heard whispers or voices.
