For the next hero to be a part of "Heroes, Ltd.," I went with a genie character. When I was younger, I would always doodle a genie-like female in my school papers, so I figured I make her into a full-fledged character for my original series. I definitely know a couple people on Furaffinity that might like this character. ;)
Name: Tahira (no known last name, though she goes by Tahira Jensen the Magnificent when she's posing as a magician)
Date of birth: Unknown
Species: Human turned djinn
Age: Over 1,000 (although she looks 32)
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 125 lbs.
Occupation: Former Arabian princess, former magical servant, stage magician, Heroes, Ltd. founding member
Affiliation(s): Heroes, Ltd.
Likes: Performing magic, kids, not being bound by a magic lamp, belly dancing, milk chocolate candies (M&Ms are her favorites), American Eagle (especially after he wished for her freedom), working for Heroes, Ltd., cats, herbal tea, and K-pop music
Dislikes: Being forced to grant wishes, itty-bitty living spaces, getting split ends in her long hair, rats (which explains why she doesn't like the Exterminator that much), hecklers at her magic show, seeing her friends get hurt, and people misinterpreting belly dancing as "too sexual"
Powers & Abilities:
The Djinni has immense magic powers befitting of a genie, and she knows a variety of magic spells to help her combat criminals, and protect those she cares about. She can teleport from place to place, can change her appearance to resemble someone or something else, can grow or shrink in size, and can duplicate herself. She also uses a Scimitar in combat, which she can make herself appear and disappear at will.

Bio:
Long ago in Ancient Arabia, there lived a young princess by the name of Tahira, who was beloved by everyone in the kingdom. However, while she was given everything she could ever want from her father, the Sultan, she felt like there was something missing in her life. By the time she reached her mid-20s, she discovered what it was: a loyal and faithful husband for her to share her lifestyle and treasures with. So, her father sent out an order to the men of the kingdom that she's eligible for marriage, which, unfortunately, drew the attention of power-hungry jerks who just wanted to marry her for money and power. One suitor in particular, Prince Muskh, really wanted Tahira's treasures for himself, so he organized to have his minions kidnap her on their wedding night. After the wedding, Muskh's minions nabbed her, and stuffed her in a basket, where they brought her to the middle of the desert to Muskh's right hand man, the sorcerer Rajul Tamae.
Rajul used his magic to trap Tahira into an oil lamp, turning her into a djinn where she was forced to grant the wishes of anyone who rubs the lamp. The only way she could be freed from it all was if her master wished her out, and they buried her into the sand and returned to her kingdom where Muskh became the new sultan and started ruling over it with an iron fist. Thousands of years have passed, and nobody found Tahira in her lamp to wish her free from her prison. Until one day when American Eagle was stationed in Morocco to continue training his newly acquired powers, when one of the soldiers he was working with found something on his metal detector. Thinking it was a landmine, they dug through the sand until they found Tahira's lamp. Having watched various movies about the Arabian Nights, American Eagle rubbed the lamp, and let Tahira out of the lamp. Being bound by the lamp, she became American Eagle's personal servant, and was ready to grant him three wishes.
After wishing that his canteen was full of ice-cold water, American Eagle brought Tahira back to Orlando, Florida, where he brought her to his wife and newborn daughter. He revealed her to them, and his wife was in shock by the existence of djinns. Regardless, she was well-liked by the Lincoln family, especially Tara, who saw her as a very close friend. It was the first time in thousands of years where she felt truly happy. That was until American Eagle's brother, Brother Grimskull, killed his wife, which left her devastated and wanting to get back at him. So, American Eagle used his second wish to have his current location found, and he and Tahira arrived to stop him from harming anyone else. Knowing that djinnis can't kill anyone, American Eagle had Brother Grimskull arrested, and as a token of his gratitude, he wished for Tahira to be free from the lamp. She was so grateful for American Eagle wishing her free, she decided to join him in founding his new company, Heroes, Ltd., which American Eagle organized to combat Brother Grimskull's new company VillainCo.
Tahira then became the magical superheroine known as the Djinni, and she spent her time at the company perfecting her djinni magic in hopes of using it to protect the innocent. She also took up some sword training in case her magic wasn't enough to do the job, and she felt most comfortable using a Scimitar as it reminded her of her Arabian heritage. She also used her newly acquired freedom to learn more about modern life, as she missed a good chunk of it while trapped in the lamp. She became interested in magic as a performance, and decided to do a side-hustle as a magician herself, calling herself Tahira Jensen the Magnificent, to make extra money. Her magical abilities made her an instant hit among everyone, and she was often invited to perform at various venues, such as weddings, birthdays, and bar mitzvahs. But, Tahira is always on call to help the other Heroes, Ltd. heroes whenever trouble rears its ugly head, and now, all criminals know the magical might of the Djinni.
Strengths:
-Immense magic powers make her a formidable foe to be reckoned with
-A skilled swordswoman, able to wield any sort of blade in combat (most comfortable with a Scimitar)
-Always looks out for her fellow friends and fellow Heroes, Ltd. employees
-Confident enough to have her own magic show, and doesn't buckle under pressure
-Transformation skills are useful in undercover missions
-Very independent, and doesn't like being forced to do something she doesn't want to do
-Has a long lifespan given her magic powers
Weaknesses:
-Magic spells have a tendency to backfire on her
-Suffers from claustrophobia, which is why she hated being confined to the lamp
-Has trust issues that she hasn't gotten over since her suitor betrayed her
-Lack of knowledge about modern life has led to some embarrassing moments
-Sometimes loses control of her powers, causing her magic to go haywire
-Lacks any real fighting skills outside of sword-fighting
-Often gets distracted easily by anything made of chocolate, as she has a huge sweet tooth
Well, whaddaya think of the Djinni, guys?
