hey so for at least 15 years my dreams have been cursed. any time i went in any tunnel, attic, passage, anything underground and claustrophobic, a little gollumy looking humanoid pale creature would appear and try to kill me, so i try to avoid them. it was especially bad in churches; id regularly have to go to a particular twisted church that had Passages Through The Top to try and find something, and it would be a survival horror trying to avoid the wretched little guy.

well, about two years ago, i managed to kill the fucker in a big final fight, the church started collapsing, and i bound it to my soul? so for two years, ive been able to go small places in dreams without being attacked. ive been so paranoid though, because what if it wasnt dead?

well, it finally happened. i had to go through a tunnel connecting two buildings a couple nights ago, got a bad feeling, and got attacked by a quadrupedal version, still gaunt, no eyes this time?? and it screamed at me in a feminine voice that i'd killed its brother and it would get me for this?? managed to drive it off with a couple good fire blasts, it's not as good at this yet, but the other one haunted me for over a decade so it'll probably learn :(
