I started out doing a picture of Pidgy, a ... pigeon, I guess, who in a series of stories such as this one in Frisky Fables # has a bucket of magic paint. So this is based on the title panel for the story 'Pidgy and the Magic Paint' that you can see at https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=38452 page 34.
But once we had magic paint in I couldn't very well ignore that PatchO'Black, the Jellicle Cat on SpinDizzy ( https://muck.spindizzy.org/spindizz.....nt/client.html ) has a wonderful sideline of painting folks, mostly me, with his magic paint set. Also that I really like being painted. So we have this convergence of events.
Original art signed 'Abbey', though I don't know who that is specifically.
