Hello! And welcome to my fursona's Ref Sheet! I drew it myself! I realize that I am not the best artist in the world but I still wanted to provide a reference for my fursona especially as that feels like a way to "finalize" him so to speak to really cement him as fursona! I want to eventually have 4 pages to this reference but finishing the main reference is probably the most important and impactful! So I am still happy and excited to present it to you! Even though I think my artistic skills are personally sub par I still really like my boi!... Or rather myself and I love how I turned out! And it feels really really nice finally having a full on fursona I can truly call my own! ♥

Psudo-FAQ

🔴 Why is this called a Psudo FAQ? ✏️ Uh because no one has asked many questions, I just assume people will ask these questions so I figure I'd write down my responses to them.

🔴 Hey isn't this just a Dracthyr from WoW? ✏️ They are heavily inspired from Dracthyr in WoW but with some key differences to the point where I didn't feel comfortable putting Dracthyr in the tags for this post. I did however use pictures of Dracthyr as my main reference material when making them to the point where I basically yoinked some things from them in their entirety, namely the wings and ears (God those ears are so lovely.) and general body pattern. But I do not think of them as a Dracthyr. If you think they are a Dracthyr and want to place them in the WoW universe that's totally okay though!

🔴 There's colors for innards but there's actually no innards displayed on the Ref besides where you cut off your own body parts! ✏️ 1: That's not a question alternate me. 2: Yeah, oops, didn't realize until I was done. It will be important for other pages though, don't you worry! ;3

🔴 I really don't like how you are staring into my soul. ✏️ 1: That's not a question again, me! 2: Front facing dragon can't hurt you, Front facing dragon isn't real. Okay jokes aside I think for front facing dragon standards while I do look a bit weird I look pretty decent if I do say so myself.

🔴 I think there's a lack of detail? ✏️ I agree, me. I wanted to include shading but I don't think that's the best thing to include on a ref sheet so I didn't. It is possible when I get better at art in the future there may be an updated ref sheet that looks better. Or maybe I'll commission someone. I did actually draw scale patterns on myself while making it but I decided to trash them as I don't want people to think they are necessary and they were annoying as shit to draw.

Lore and Written Description

⭐ Lore ⭐

Shoey is an Anthro Dragon that dabbles slightly in Philosophy and Chronomancy. And by dabbles I means he falls asleep while trying to learn about them, has dreams about what he thinks is correct, and then believes he learned that from learning about Philosophy and Chronomancy! What I'm trying to say is that despite being a weak chronomancer he's somehow still pretty stupid despite thinking he's smart. His chronomancy/philosophy belief of choice is: Eternalism. That time is more complicated than any of us can believe in (especially Shoey) and that there is a version of reality and time where each and every possible outcome is true no matter the question. For example should Shoey eat an Apple? Or a nutritious Burger for breakfast? The answer is that he eats both, but in separate timelines and realities. (Even though the correct choice is the burger, and any other choice is simply incorrect.) There's also a reality where he eats nothing and even reality where he chokes on his breakfast and dies. There might even be a reality where he doesn't get to eat breakfast as a giant feral dragon who somehow tripped in midair while flying crashes through his window and just so happens to accidentally swallow him whole before he even gets to make the choice. You get the picture by now I'm sure. While this might be quite horrifying to think about for actually wise people Shoey, on the other hand, instead would use this knowledge to be lazy explaining it away that someone needs to be the lazy one otherwise the other versions of himself can't succeed in their reality. There might be some merit to what he says however as unlike others Shoey can bend the rules and have short, brief, interactions with his alternate selves from other timelines. Sometimes even physically, though usually they enter his head as intrusive thoughts or a different personality than what he normally is like but they are theoretically accessible. One can even see differences in Shoey physically in each timeline. Usually his horns are different, that's the most common change. But one can also observe his weight change from thin to morbidly obese, his head structure change, to even his entire body make up being different as if he's from a different universe entirely.

(...Okay look don't think about this too hard mmmkay? This is basically all one big excuse to explain the alternate personalities I've put on for a long time in my life, and still do to some extent, while also being able how I can be defeated or vored and completely digested or somethin' and still be okay alright? Basically everything is possible, even complete and total body shifts and name changes with my character as I want artists to express themselves even when making my character and I'm totally okay with whatever spin they might put on it and I want to make that still viable/canon. This is also a good excuse to explain design differences in my fursona if I ever make a fan version for a game I like later or somethin'...)

⭐ Written Description ⭐

Shoey is an Anthro Dragon that is golden colored. As you travel down his body his golden color shifts darker in hue. He has a chubby build. He has a pure white underbelly/underside with chevrons on his belly. He has two large wings capable of flight that also have pure white membranes in between each wing limb. He has chubby hand paws and feet paws to go with his chubby build. His feet are attached to digit-grade legs. He has 5 fingers on his hand paws, one of them being a thumb. He has 3 toes on each foot paw. He has an average sized head with large wing ears and big expressive red eyes that fade brighter around his pupil. His eyes have no Sclera and instead is all iris with a slit style pupil. His eyes have a thin eye ridge above them which helps him express himself. He has swept dark grey horns. He has nose ridges near the tip of his nose on his snout that gradually go lower until they shift into a plated darker stripe on the center of his forehead that goes until it reaches his horns when then it gradually but quickly turns back into his normal head coloring. His snout is long along with his maw. He has fairly large nostrils to go with the large snout. On the tip of each one of his digits, including his heel and wing digits, there is a dark grey claw. Despite his possibly somewhat frightening appearance (despite being chubby) he appears quite friendly and is usually smiling and/or goofing off. He has a chubby medium length barren tail. He has a chubby butt and thighs.
