The '87 Splinter is my favorite version of the character design wise (Of course in the cartoon they made him and Hamato Yoshi one in the same via mutation, as compared to the original Mirage comics and live action movies where he was Yoshi's pet and the latter was killed by Oroku Saki/The Shredder) and of course Peter Renaday's performance is awesome.
