Now, for this new character for "Heroes, Ltd.," I've brought back an old character I've made all the way back in 5th grade, Gator Pete. When I first made him, he was just a regular human superhero with an alligator motif. Now, many years later, I've decided to change him a WHOLE lot by making him a straight-up humanoid alligator who was made this way via voodoo magic. Besides, I think he looks a lot cuter, now.

Bio:
One day deep in the swamps of the Everglades, a bunch of alligator eggs hatched, but one of them was slightly bigger than the rest of them. The park rangers noticed this, and they took the baby alligator to the vet to see what caused him to be bigger than the other alligators. The vets said that it was due to a leak of chemicals from a nearby power plant in the swamp water which the mother gator was swimming in before she laid her eggs, and that upon hatching he would continue to grow at an alarming rate if he comes into contact with more chemicals. So, upon returning to the Everglades, the rangers kept the baby alligator away from the swamp until the swamp water was filtered out, and once the deed was done, he was returned to the swamp now under the name of Pete, and would go on to live a happy life in the Everglades.
As Pete grew older and bigger, he eventually became a beloved tourist attraction at the park, even becoming the unofficial mascot of the park because of his larger size and friendlier disposition when compared to most alligators. Everything was great until one day, Pete was kidnapped by a deranged voodoo practitioner named Johann Fou, and was brought to his lair where he began to use his voodoo magic on him. Johann then transformed Pete into an anthropomorphic alligator in hopes of making him his personal servant and bodyguard. However, Pete started becoming smarter thanks to his magic powers, and would see Johann's evil intent, so after he beat him up, he escaped from his lair, and returned to the Everglades where he went into hiding. Pete was eventually found by one of the Everglades' rangers, Billy, who brought him back to his cabin, and began to take care of him and teach him about the world outside the Everglades, even educating him a bit in reading, writing, and mathematics.
One day, Pete saw the American Eagle on the news, and became inspired to turn his unfortunate transformation into a force of good. So, he took a pair of Billy's swimming trunks, his old Florida Gators tank top, and a tattered old blanket Billy used to have when he was young, and called himself Gator Pete, the Defender of the Everglades. He would go around the Everglades and use his natural alligator attributes such as his biting jaws, strength, and swimming skills to thwart poachers who broke into the park to capture the animals as well as any invasive animal species coming into the park. Because of his heroic actions in protecting the Everglades, Pete's status as the face of the park increased, and more merchandise of him was being made, bringing more tourists to the park. Annoyed that people were seeing him as just a tourist attraction, Pete wanted to be a part of something bigger.
One day while he was patrolling the waterways, Pete noticed the American Eagle and Arrowhead coming to the Everglades to thwart a villain known as the Voodo Vulture, but they couldn't find where his lair was. Pete, who knew the Everglades like the back of his hand, decided to help them out. They eventually found the Voodoo Vulture's lair, which caused Pete to have a flashback to when Johann Fou used his magic to make him what he was now. When they went inside to stop the Voodoo Vulture was casting a spell to turn everyone in Florida into human-vulture hybrids, Pete immediately recognized him as Johann Fou, the man who tried to make him his servant, and he helped the two heroes in fighting him. After the Voodoo Vulture's plans were thwarted, and was taken to jail, the American Eagle offered Pete a position in his new company, Heroes, Ltd. After thinking it over, and realizing that this could be the big break he's been waiting for, he agreed, and became one of the founding members of Heroes, Ltd., where he became a much more respected hero by the citizens of Orlando, Florida. But, he still returns to the Everglades from time to time to visit Billy, as well as stop any other poachers that might harm the local wildlife.
Strengths:
-Natural alligator strength allows him to lift 5x his own body weight
-Bite force is very powerful
-Gets along very well with his fellow Heroes, Ltd. employees
-Alligator hide is hard to penetrate
-Natural born swimmer, being able to stay underwater for up to four hours
-Cares very much about the environment
-Willing to learn more about the world around him
Weaknesses:
-Walnut sized brain makes it hard for him to understand human behavior
-Has a tendency to go feral, and lash out at people, even when he didn't mean it
-Traumatizing fear of suitcases, given what they're made of
-Lacks formal combat training, often relying on brute force to win his battles
-While fast in the water, he's pretty slow on land
-Takes it personally when people see him as nothing more than a tourist attraction
-Relationship with humans is shaky after what Voodoo Vulture did to him
