Fox, the art evolution is very nice. One of the best example of art evolution in gaming I've witnessed is in Game Boy's Metroid II: Return of Samus, where Varia Suit's visual change now increases the size of shoulders of Samus' power suit. It is enforced by Game Boy itself's lack of varied color palletes, unlike famed NES/Famicom.
