My friend got the $70 X11s--just as good as the $100 X31s, except they're not wireless. AND they're compatible with PCs. So the 31s cost an extra 30 bucks just for console exclusivity. X11s work awesome. Playing Battlefield is like "is that a sniper I hear creeping across the map from me?"

I could probably do this too. X3 Freaked out my roommates a lot when I'd walk into the kitchen behind them, not making a sound...

Dead Space 2 just came out last weak (two weeks after this was posted)

It theoretically could have been DS1 or the DS2 demo... but I don't think it matters what game you play, if it's hard enough to the effect that your entire concentration is on the game, you'll jump out of your socks at the slightest poke.

Trust me, I know. I've had my mom lean her chair into my shoulder by accident when I'm playing games and - whether I'm playing Ninja Gaiden, Dead Space, Halo, or even a simple racing game like Split/Second - it never fails to scare the crap out of me.
