Description: STI Rifles latest addition to the vast arsenal of the Empire of AnKrae, a unique firearm heavily based on its predecessor the Model 12 but upgraded to better suit more modern times, the old outdated wooden frame has been replaced with parts made of stamped steel and a new composite called „Deepling Steel“ making the weapon lighter but at the same time more resistant to withering and rust.
The method of reloading has also been improved upon, instead of reloading one shell at a time the model 13 uses a 6 round tube to load the 10 Gauge Shells into the chamber, this completely removes the probability of a discharge inside the Chamber as every component is now locked away in the internal firing mechanism.

As it is always the case, certain advantages often come with disadvantages.
In this case the new mechanism causes a popular technique among soldiers to become useless, this technique being to load a new shell into the ammunition tube after a has been inserted into the firing chamber, however as the tube locks into places when the grip is racked back into loading position it becomes impossible to remove the tube until it has been emptied.
This was made in an attempt to discourage soldiers to waste excess ammunition in duels and to even think about bringing a shotgun to a duel as the many pellets often have devastating effects on the human body if hit in close quarters.
Yet both models remain in active combat duty and have remained a popular choice among recruits.
