I had a stroke of inspiration and drafted a concept for a basilisk themed lizard in Divinity. I think I will develop this more. With different armors and poses. This doesn't exactly show off all the uniqueness of a basilisk, that mainly being the three sails along the back, and I feel like I could do more to show that off. Scale armor is a PITA haha. I'd like to make a civilian, but clothing is one of the many banes of my contemporary artistic abilities. Might also try to include some color, but I feel like it'd just muddy the image. I'm glad I had the DOS2 artbook handy for references. though, looking at em side by side puts my portrait to shame haha
