Nicely done! I like that you are one of the artists who takes the time to explore emotion, what the character is thinking and the general feel of whatever the moment is instead of simply drawing a character who seems to be posed like a manequin with no motivations, higher thought or context to give more realism to that character.

the backstory is just painful, I couldn't imagine...such great artistry to capture the emotion...

You know, I looked at this piece last night, but never bothered to post, though I could not seem to get it out of my head all morning. Truely this piece is special in the sence that it can convey such a profound message to people without words. I think that Archusky & Fluke have done a very noble gesture to honour someone who obviously left this world before there time and will be greatly missed, I tip my had to you both.

Having lost a parent at a young age and still growing up with only a single father, I feel the same way this kid does. Having just random moments in your life where you break down crying because the overwhelming need for that loved to come back but knowing they will not just escaping through tears. The flood of memories rushing to you all at once to the point where holding back the urge to cry is an impossibility. I love this picture because it captures the essence of a child who has lost something so dear.

Beautiful is all I can say, can't think of the words to say, the emotion just flows out.

This tugged at my heartstrings. This reminds me of my mate who died two years ago. I miss him terribly. Whenever I'm lonely, especially at school, I would cry where no one's looking, or cry myself to sleep trying to quiet my sobs, so no one would hear me cry and tell me what a baby I am. People say that "over time things heal". That's true, but it never does really heal. I am shedding tears watching this. I need a tissue. *cries*
