Custodians are a special branch of the Byssylvania intelligence services tasked with policing the government's cohort of bio-engineered assets. They were staffed wholly by AI-driven robots until they proved incapable of reliably performing their primary function. The next version consisted of an AI-controlled robot and a remotely piloted robot. An upgrade to the Custodians consisted of the remote pilot replaced by a chimera in an exosuit.
